John L. Sherrill (nació en 1923 en Covington, Tennessee) y Elizabeth «Tib» Sherrill (nació en 1928 en Hollywood, California) son escritores cristianos. Han sido coautores de varios libros de gran éxito de ventas, incluyendo God's Smuggler with Brother Andrew, The Hiding Place with Corrie ten Boom, y La cruz y el puñal con David Wilkerson.
De 1944 a 1951 John Sherrill fue un escritor independiente en Europa. John y Elizabeth Sherrill se conocieron a bordo de un barco camino a Europa y se casaron en Suiza en 1947. De 1947 a 1963 Elizabeth fue una escritora independiente para revistas. En 1970 fundaron la editorial Chosen Books, dedicada a buscar «en el mundo libros que tuvieran dos criterios: ser interesantes y ser útiles». Su primer título fue «El escondite».
Elizabeth es autora de más de 30 libros, muchos de ellos escritos junto con su marido. Algunos de estos libros han sido traducidos a más de 40 idiomas.
Los Sherrill tienen tres hijos: John Scott Sherrill, Donn Sherrill y Elizabeth Flint. Viven en Chappaqua, Nueva York.
