Princesa Fe y el jardín misterioso

This beautiful book for young girls, Princesa fe y el jardín misterioso, is part of the Princess Series, written by authors Jeanna Young and Jacqueline Johnson, and beautifully illustrated by Omar Aranda. The book is based on the Parable of the Sower found in Matthew 13:1-23.

Little Princess Faith decides at long last to plant her own garden. She is deriving great pleasure in the entire process of sowing, watering, and watching the new plants grow, but as time goes by, she is faced with a myriad of events that begin to make her garden die little by little. Some of these incidents are very sudden and mysterious and others are just plain scary!

However, while Princess Faith is learning how best to make her garden grow, she also learns some very important things about her own heart.

This book, carefully edited and beautifully illustrated, as are all of the books in the Princess Series, may serve as an excellent tool for teaching the principles of Christian life to girls and early adolescents. The fact that it is based on a parable from the Gospel of Matthew also provides an opportunity to awaken in girls a new interest in the world of the Scriptures, opening their hearts and making a true spiritual transformation possible.
