Sermones actuales sobre Pedro (Modern Sermons About Peter Spanish Edition)
Homilías sobre los Evangelios Sinópticos
SPANISH EDITION: The Apostle Peter, better known as the “sanguine apostle”, was the first of the disciples to make a messianic confession of the Lord Jesus Christ, when he said to him, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God” (Matt. 16:16). In other words, he said: “You are the Messiah and you are the Son of the God who lives.” And Jesus had to praise him: “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven” (Matt. 16:17).
Peter looks like many of us. In him we see ourselves identified in our lightness, our failures, our opportunities; and above all in the desire to please our Lord Jesus Christ. He is a character in the apostolic college! One with whom we laugh, and we also cry.
